WE ARE NEW ZEALAND’S PREMIER MOUNTAIN BIKE EVENTS TEAM.
Belinda Farmer – General Manager
Belinda has a real passion for the forest, both on foot or bike. Her first ever off road event just happen to be an Nduro Summer Cup event back in 2008. She has been alongside Tim when they created the quirky Singlespeed Sundays and Woodhill360 events in Auckland. As a member of the all-female Cranksistas she had the glory of the podium in a team MTB event. Ever since then she has been taking part in events throughout Australasia with a particular focus on ladies only event.
Tim Farmer – Events Manager
Tim will be the one running things ‘on the day’ of the event. Tim runs and rides all of the course used in the Nduro events. He grew up in the coastal region of Tauranga. Both his brother’s competed at National level in cross-country mountain biking. During his early teenage years he took to road cycling and duathlon with many podium finishes. Tim has run events in Auckland which included the successful Single Speed Sundays, Endura XC Series and the new Woodhill 360 in 2013. He has been involved in the committees for Auckland Mountain Bike and the Events Executive for Mountain Bike New Zealand (MTBNZ) which has given him the drive to succeed. Recently Tim overcame a severe case of food poisoning and dehydration to finish 9th in his age group in the WEMBO World Solo 24 Hour Mountain Bike Championship in 2013.
Philly Angus –
Andrew Lawes – Course Manager
He has been a keen mountain biker for years, having started riding back in the late 80’s in Hawkes Bay and Manawatu before the move to the mecca of mountain biking 18 years ago. The 2006 Worlds reignited his passion for the sport and has taken part in many events in Rotorua since. The past few years he has been riding singlespeed and enjoys getting out with his boys, whom are mad on mountain biking too. From his work at Red Stag Timber and his involvement with Scouting as Waikite Valley Scouts Group Leader, Andrew says that things don’t just happen without good people doing their part and finds helping run our events rewarding.
Doug Hirst – The branding Guy
Doug takes care of the event venue set up, with military procession he knows exactly how far apart each flag, banner and tent will be set. He has a very keen eye for detail and knows how Nduro Events present their events.
